Meet God  Love God  Serve God

We are a multi-generational church located in north-east Winnipeg who meet Sunday mornings for Christian worship. We are passionate about hosting worship gatherings that connect people with Jesus. Our service is approximately an hour long and always includes worship through music as well as applicable teaching from the Bible. We do our best to create a relaxed and casual environment that is accessible to everyone. Wired, a special environment just for kids is available September through June.

Our Beliefs

Our hope is that we will MEET GOD, LOVE GOD and SERVE GOD. We are a people on a journey toward God and each of the three parts of our mission is necessary to move us along this journey. Our starting point is Jesus Christ.

We live that mission out by emphasizing the following core values:

Jesus - the Bible points us to Jesus and in return we point everything we do back to him.

Gospel - for forgiveness, life change and joy, we depend on what God has done for us and not what we have done for God.

Bible - we teach the Bible as it is for people as they are.

Community - because of Jesus, we are part of an extended family and as a family we help each other out in life, in faith, in joy and in sorrow.

Mission - Jesus calls us to love people not just with words but with our actions.

Our Hope Is...

Knowing that we still have a long way to go to become like Jesus, and need a lot of God’s grace and forgiveness along the way, we are a Church striving to become people who are known to be…

Loving. Forgiving. Faithful. Humble.

Generous. Honest. Truthful. Biblical.

We celebrate the grace and love of God that is revealed in Jesus Christ. “God proves His love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”

As a Mennonite Brethren denomination, we hold to the following Confession of Faith:

We believe in God as eternal Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. God created and sustains the universe. The eternal purpose of God the Father is to create a people who will bring glory to God forever. God alone is worthy of worship.

We believe that God became human in Jesus Christ. Jesus came to restore the world because humans have rejected God in disobedience. Jesus taught and modeled the way of God’s kingdom. He died on the cross, making it possible for us to accept a renewed relationship with God. He rose from the dead, broke the power of sin and death, and frees us to live in obedience to God’s will.

We believe that God the Holy Spirit invites all people to be reconciled with God and to join the global family of faith. Believers confess their faith, are baptized, and join in the celebration of the Lord’s Supper. Through the power of the Holy Spirit and guided by the Bible, members of the church seek to live as followers of Christ and invite others to experience this new life.

As Christians, we are called to turn: ...from ignorance of God to a personal relationship with God ...from bondage of sin and past mistakes to freedom, forgiveness, and healing ...from individualism to interdependence with others in the local church ...from lifestyle choices that harm us, others, and the earth to choices that nurture wholeness, healing, joy, and peace ...from hating enemies and ignoring neighbours to showing love and justice to all ...from loving possessions to sharing with all in need ...from aimless existence to a mission of representing and proclaiming God's kingdom on earth.

As Christians, we look forward to the day when God will once again send Jesus to bring all things under God's eternal rule.
