Sunday School:(starting September 12th)

Childcare is available for children aged 9-36 months during the English worship service, and a Nursing moms room is also available for use throughout our Sunday Morning activities.

Junior Tree House (ages 2-3): Children are introduced to the world of Sunday school through the caring interaction of their leaders. Here children are invited to participate in stories, games, crafts and singing that introduce them to the love of God in age appropriate ways.

Senior Tree House (ages 4-5): Tree House is a worship/play environment form 10-12 noon. Children will be invited to worship, listen to a Bible lesson, and participate in games, crafts and a snack.

Maple Grove (grades 1-3): From 10:45 – 12 noon children will be invited to worship, listen to a Bible lesson and participate in activities and crafts. Children will also be invited to give an offering to support special missions projects.

Oak Forest (grades 4-6): From 10:45 – 12 noon children will be invited to worship, listen to a Bible lesson, and participate in activities and crafts. Children will also be invited to give an offering to support special missions projects.

Families

The Family Life Caregivers promote healthy families, faith and friendship. They offer events for families with children birth to 12 years. Watch the bulletin for information about: Healthy Family Series (a Sunday school elective for parents), family gym nights, potluck lunches, tobogganing, exploring the Children’s Museum, Summertime Fun BBQ’s and more.

Midweek Programs:

NKMB Girls Club (grades 2-6)

This is a midweek program for all girls from the surrounding community within the school grade range. This program runs year round, minus holidays and summer. Contact our office for further details.

NKMB Boys Club (grades 2-6)

This is a midweek program for all boys from the surrounding community within the school grade range. This program runs year round, minus holidays and summer. Contact our office for further details.

*NKMB is diligent in following the Safe Place Policy in all activities for minors. We are creating a safe environment for everyone. This policy fulfills the liability requirements of the MB Church of Manitoba and the Government of Manitoba. This includes:

• Registration forms for all children in programs
• Name tags for volunteers and children
• Check-in and check-out system each Sunday for children grades 3 and under
• Application forms and police/abuse checks for volunteers and staff
