Important information for all participants of the Cuba Missions Trip |
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
1. To participate in church activities, the Cuban government requires visitors to have a “religious visa.” The
processing of such Visa takes 90 days, and the cost is +/- C$150. We will need a copy of your passport, along
with the processing fee no later than October 25th so we can begin the application process. Please make sure
your passport is valid at least 6 months past the tour date.
2. NKMB cannot assume any liability of any kind. Tour participants will be asked to sign an appropriate
declaration to that effect.
3. NKMB cannot provide any refunds on visa processing fees, travel, or accommodation payments once
processing/bookings have been initiated.
4. The tentative price indicated on the sign-up sheet is for double occupancy, based on today’s price. The actual
cost will only be known once booking begins.
NOTE: THERE WILL BE AN ADDITIONAL CHARGE FOR A SINGLE ROOM.
5. We intend to book a 3-star hotel near Havana, but on the beach. The hotel is a 4 story building and has no
elevators. Where necessary, we hope we’ll be able to make accommodations for ground level rooms.
6. The purpose of this trip is to show solidarity with our Cuban brothers and sisters that have suffered under an
oppressive regime for nearly 50 years.
7. Not all program activities have been finalized. General activities may include: visit old Havana city, visit the
different project churches and their worship services, possibly help in clean-up or renovation activities for a day
or two, daytrip to Cien Fuegos (a typical colonial city) and surrounding area to visit churches, free time at the
beach, etc.
8. Once sign-up and booking is completed, we will attempt to meet as a group to get some basic Spanish
