Sunday Services

On November 4th our church executive team made the decision to follow the guidance we received from our denominational leadership board to temporarily move to online only gatherings until Code Red is lifted in the Winnipeg area.

Thus, we'll be focusing all our energies on providing the best quality live stream service and invite all our church family participate in that way.

We are disappointed  yet hopeful that we'll soon be able to open up our doors for general attendance in the same way we've been doing previously under Code Orange.

Not quite ready to come back? We will continue to live stream the service online every Sunday at 11:00 AM.

As we all learn to live the 'new normal’, many things will be somewhat different as we adapt. To help everyone

understand how things will go, here are answers to some questions you may have:

  • What time is the worship Service?

11 AM in the Sanctuary for the Main Service.

9:30 AM in the Multipurpose Room for the German Service.

Please arrive ahead of time (20 minutes). When you are in the building we ask that you find a seat and remain there until dismissed at the end of the service

  • Do we need to Register?

Yes. Due to limits to how many people can safely be in our worship spaces, we will need everyone attending to pre-register. Please register to attend prior to the weekend by using the form on this page. Because of our capacity restrictions at this time, we are asking that you register you or family for only 1 service. If you attend the German service you can not attend the main service at 11am.

  • Will there be Children’s Programming?

Children's programming will be online only for the time being. If you would like to bring your children with you to our in-person service, they will sit with you for the duration of the service.

  • Should we wear a mask?

Yes, Manitoba Provincial Public health officials require the use of face masks in all indoor public spaces for ages 5 and up. We have some disposable masks available if you forget to bring one.

While congregational singing is not prohibited, it is discouraged. The province of Manitoba recommends congregants hum along with the vocalists instead of singing.

  • Can I come if I’m sick?

If you are not feeling well, if you have a fever or if you’re coughing and sneezing, please stay home.  While we do want you here to worship with us, we need to be considerate of all others in attendance and ask that you do not attend until you feel better and your symptoms have passed. And remember, you can always watch the service online, at home, while you’re recovering.

  • Will there be regular Sunday school at 9:30 AM?

No. In an effort to minimize the total time indoor in our building, we will not be running any of our usual Sunday School Programming at 9:30 AM. Additionally, our coffee services will not be offered and The Library and Mailboxes will not be available for the time being.
