• Treasured VBS 2022

    Mrs. Boge is busy planning for VBS on July 24-28 this summer and we really hope you can make it. This year VBS is called Treasured, where each child will learn about how important they are to God. Register Now!

    Now, if you’re too old to attend VBS, don’t worry, you can still participate! We need lots of volunteers, about 100, to make VBS happen. If you want to help at VBS please contact tanya@nkmb.org

  • Kids Day Camps

    At NKMB Kids Day Camps, children have fun, learn about Jesus, and make new friends. We have action-packed days planned all summer-long. Each week will be packed with hands-on activities, exciting games, faith-based lessons, and lots more kid-friendly fun! Click here to find a day camp for you!

  • Family "Kid City" Event

    Families are invited to our event on Friday, May 27 from 6:15-8:15pm at Kid City (801 Century Street). Cost is $5 a person and snacks will be provided. Click here to register

  • Community Roots Spring Fair

    Mark your calendars! The Community Roots Resource Centre is hosting a Spring Fair on Saturday, June 18 in the parking lot of Jubilee Mennonite Church. Everyone is invited to attend! There will be food and fun for the whole family. This is a great chance to get to know our neighbourhood. Donations of gently used clothing for children or youth are greatly appreciated, and can be dropped off at our church office.

  • There will be no Sunday School, Child Care or WIRED on Sunday, May 22

  • The Church Office will be closed on Monday, May 23 for Victoria Day

  • Beginning June 12 we will move to a summer service schedule, with the Worship Service at 10:30am and the German service at 9:30am

  • Are you interested in summer camp ministries? Missions Committee has money to support you! Contact the church office for more information

  • Sponsorship update: Do you have experience teaching English to newcomers? While Esther can speak English, she cannot read or write as she never had the opportunity to go to school. She is on a wait list for English classes, but may need to wait until September. If you are interested, please contact the church office

  • You are invited to visit the Church Library between 10:30-11am every Sunday. Kindly return any books that have been borrowed over the past 2 years

  • We need a few more volunteers to help make coffee on Sunday mornings. If you are interested please contact the church office

  • Mom’s Group is still looking for childcare volunteers to join our team of Omas and Opas. If you can help, contact Rachel DeRoo
  • Do you have an old (working) iPad that you no longer use? We’re looking for gently used iPads for use in our worship ministry. If you have one you’d be willing to donate, contact Justin or drop it off at the church office

Together, Let's Pray


• for Jacob Froese and Helen Goossen in Donwood Manor

• for Frida Giesbrecht in Concordia Hospital

• for those who have left the church. Pray that we would be an example and welcome them back as they return

• for a revival in our city where there is much suffering and need

• for strength, wisdom and courage for Pastors Vic and Paulhans in preaching the Word of God

• for the many preparations for the various summer camps. Pray that God will be glorified and that some will be brought to faith

• Praise God through Psalm 27:1. The Lord is our life force

• for Christians around the world who are experiencing persecution because of their faith
