Camp Supervisor

Term: 12 weeks (June 1 – August 27, 2026)Hours: 32 hours/weekCompensation: $19.00/hour + vacation payEligibility: Must be 18 years or older

Join our Children’s Ministry Team as a Camp Supervisor and play a key leadership role in overseeing our summer camp ministry. This position is an opportunity to serve Christ by creating a fun, faith-filled environment where children can grow in their relationship with God.

Responsibilities:

  • Pre-Camp Planning – Develop engaging daily schedules, activities, crafts, and Bible lessons centred on Christian themes to help children experience and understand God’s love.
  • Staff Coordination – Assist in organizing, training, and mentoring summer staff, fostering a Christ-centred team environment.
  • Sunday Ministry Support – Help lead NKMB Kids on Sunday mornings, teaching biblical truths and encouraging children in their faith journey.

Requirements:

  • A strong personal faith in Jesus Christ and a passion for discipleship in children’s ministry.
  • Proven leadership, organizational, and team-building skills.


Camp Onsite Leadership Team

Term: 6 weeks (July 13-16, July 20-23, July 27-30, Aug. 10-13, Aug. 17-20, Aug. 24-27)

Hours: 32 hours/weekCompensation: $16/hour + 4% vacation pay

Availability: Please indicate which weeks you are able to work on the application form

Eligibility: Must be entering Grade 11 or higher in Fall 2026

Join our Children’s Ministry Team and play a vital role in planning and leading Christ-centered programming for children throughout the summer. 

Responsibilities:

  • Bible Programming and Camp Administration 
  • Plan Summer Day Camps programming, ensuring engaging, Christ-focused activities.
  • Assist in organizing and running our Vacation Bible School (VBS) program (July 13-16, 2026), bringing the Gospel to life through teaching, music, and activities.
  • Plan, and execute a stellar bible program each day.  Prep it and deliver it on stage. This includes worship, skits and teaching.
  • Participate in pre-camp planning through volunteer work in June, helping to prepare materials, schedules, and ministry resources.
  • Work alongside other ministry staff to ensure a safe, nurturing, and spiritually enriching experience for all children.
  • Must attend Staff Leadership Training week from July 6-9

Requirements:

  • A heart for serving in children’s ministry and sharing the Gospel.
  • Strong leadership, organization, and teamwork skills.
  • Availability for daytime shifts, Monday through Thursday.

Camp Offsite Leadership Team

Term: 6 weeks  (July 13-16, July 20-23, July 27-30, Aug. 10-13, Aug. 17-20, Aug. 24-27)

Hours: 32 hours/week
Compensation: $16/hour + 4% vacation pay
Eligibility: Must be entering Grade 11 or higher in Fall 2026


Responsibilities:

Activity & Group Leadership

  • Lead assigned programming in a professional, fun, and faith-driven manner, engaging campers in meaningful activities.
  • Supervise campers from arrival to departure, ensuring their safety, well-being, and spiritual growth.
  • Provide supervision for Crew leaders and mentor them
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized camp environment by supporting team-wide operational tasks.
  • Assist Onsite team with bible-based activities, including worship, skits, object lessons, and interactive faith discussions.
  • Provide attentive care to children both onsite and during offsite field trips, creating a nurturing and Christ-honoring atmosphere.
  • Mentor and encourage Junior Leaders, fostering a supportive and faith-filled team culture.

Qualifications:

  • A strong commitment to Christian values and a personal faith in Jesus Christ.
  • Leadership, teamwork, and communication skills with a heart for serving children and youth.
  • Availability for scheduled camp dates and required training.
  • Must attend Staff Leadership Training week from July 6-9

Crew Leader
Term:  Choose July 13-16, July 20-23, July 27-30, Aug. 10-13, Aug. 17-20, Aug. 24-27
Availability: Please indicate which weeks you are able to work on the application form
Hours: 32 hours/week
Compensation: Honorarium
Eligibility: Must be entering Grade 10 or higher in Fall 2026

Responsibilities:
-Supervise campers from arrival to departure, ensuring their safety, well-being, and spiritual growth.
-Maintain a clean and organized camp environment by supporting team-wide operational tasks.
-Provide attentive care to children both onsite and during offsite field trips, creating a nurturing and Christ-honoring atmosphere.


Camp Volunteer
Availability: Please indicate which weeks you are able to work on the application form
Hours: 32 hours/week
Eligibility: Must be entering Grade 8 or 9 or higher in Fall 2026

Responsibilities:
-Assist Crew leaders with the kids
-Supervise campers from arrival to departure, ensuring their safety, well-being, and spiritual growth.
-Maintain a clean and organized camp environment by supporting team-wide operational tasks.
-Assist Onsite team where needed
-Provide attentive care to children both onsite and during offsite field trips, creating a nurturing and Christ-honoring atmosphere.
