Thank You, Picnic Volunteers! 

We want to extend a heartfelt THANK YOU to every one of our incredible picnic volunteers! Your time, energy, and servant-hearted spirit made the day a joyful success. From set-up to clean-up, from food service to fun activities—none of it would have been possible without you. It was such a blessing to see our church family come together, and you helped create a space where connection, laughter, and community could thrive. 


Chris’ Lemonade Recipe:

Simple Syrup Base:
• 8 cups hot tap water
• 1 cup sugar
Stir until sugar is completely dissolved.
Refrigerate until cold.
To Make Each Serving:
• 1 lemon, washed and quartered
Squeeze the lemon quarters into a cup, then drop the squeezed lemon pieces into the cup. Fill the cup with ice until about 3/4 full.
Pour the chilled simple syrup over the ice to fill the cup. Stir or shake well. Serve cold.

Sponsorship Update

We continue to appreciate the support of Pastors Israel and Irene Moore as they care for Grace. Their son accompanied Rita and Emmanuel to offer protection as they traveled to Abidjan this past week. Sarah’s daughters attend English classes at the church and help care for the community garden at the church. 

To Bring Grace Home: 

Proof of relationship between Gifty and Grace is the main criteria for the application we submitted to Immigration. Immigration required we provide at least one of seven options as evidence. We provided all seven! Please continue to pray for a positive and speedy response.

Staff away:

Pastor Victor will be in Nicaragua June 24- 27, as part of a missions scouting
initiative. Chuck Penner and Victor will be exploring potential opportunities for a future mission partnership for our church. Please keep them in prayer for safe travels, discernment, and meaningful connections.

Women’s Prayer Walk: 

Meet at church and then walk in the community and pray. June 24 at 6:30pm. Meet at door 1. In case of rain we will meet in the foyer.  

Women’s Trip to Grand Forks:

Are you   interested in driving south for a day of   shopping? Join a group of ladies as they head to Grand Forks on August 9th. Option to stay overnight as well. For more details and to register head to the website or contact Jen Werner with any questions.

Weekly Prayer Items

• For Andreas Wiebe in Deer Lodge Centre.
• Pray for new dad’s, lift up new or soon-to-be dads—pray for joy, courage, patience, and deep trust in God as they learn and grow.
• Pray for fathers dealing with unemployment, illness, broken relationships, or addiction. Ask for God’s provision, healing, and hope.
• Pray for single fathers juggling multiple roles. Ask God to give them peace, support, and strength as they lead their families.
• Thank God for the wisdom and love of grandfathers, uncles, stepdads, mentors, and others who’ve stepped into the role of fatherhood with compassion and care.
• Pray for dads whose children are far from God. Ask for peace, faith, and open doors for reconciliation.
